WNBA Props 6/8

Today we get matchups with the Sun vs Mystic & Lynx vs Wings, both of which have played during the first week of the new season. We'll cover some angles that can be interesting and props I like.

Sun vs Mystic (3pm ET)

Connecticut’s defense has been bad at a little bit of everything but one thing they emphasized last game was contesting shots, but they also continue to focus on help defense in the paint which has left shooters open and cutters with open lanes to the rim. Even though they will send help on players posting up in the paint, they still struggle to stop them. The standout rookie Kiki Iriafen looks to be in a solid spot tonight as last time they played she posted 17 points and 14 boards. Last game versus the Liberty, she only played 18 minutes which is a season low since the return of Shakira Austin, but during that first half she had picked up three fouls, giving her only 1 minute of second quarter court time, yet she still tallied 17 points and 9 rebounds. Her rebounding line is currently 8.5 and her points line is 13.5.

They are also allowing the 4th most assists and Sykes is currently leading the team in assists and 4.5 per game and 55% of her assists go to a combination of Iriafen, Citron, and Austin, all of which are in great spots to get quality looks. Last time they played she dished out 7 assists.
